Technical Sales Manager - Houston, Texas
Our firm has been selected as a recruitment partner with one of the leading names in design, engineering, and manufacturing of flow control equipment. They have developed state-of-the-art technology for drilling manifolds and bespoke engineering services.
They are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to grow and develop sales in the US market.
Industry: Oil & Gas, Drilling
Qualifications:
Degree / Diploma in Business or Engineering
Minimum 10 years of sales experience in oil & gas industry, specifically pressure control.
Responsibilities:
Reports directly to Managing Director.
Must have API 6A, API 16C sales experience.
Specializing in valves, chokes and manifolds.
Build and maintaining client relations
Work with internal departments such as the Marketing or Product teams to engage clients more deeply
Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets
Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition
Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
Preparing sales budgets and projections
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
Prepare and conduct presentations
Understand pricing in the market, including competitors pricing
Negotiate contracts at all levels
Prepare detailed tender responses in a timely manner
Any other duties as assigned by line manager
Skills:
Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office
