Technical Sales Manager - Houston, Texas

Our firm has been selected as a recruitment partner with one of the leading names in design, engineering, and manufacturing of flow control equipment. They have developed state-of-the-art technology for drilling manifolds and bespoke engineering services.

They are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to grow and develop sales in the US market.

Industry: Oil & Gas, Drilling

Qualifications:

  • Degree / Diploma in Business or Engineering

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in oil & gas industry, specifically pressure control.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to Managing Director.

  • Must have API 6A, API 16C sales experience.

  • Specializing in valves, chokes and manifolds.

  • Build and maintaining client relations

  • Work with internal departments such as the Marketing or Product teams to engage clients more deeply

  • Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets

  • Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition

  • Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities

  • Preparing sales budgets and projections

  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts

  • Prepare and conduct presentations

  • Understand pricing in the market, including competitors pricing

  • Negotiate contracts at all levels

  • Prepare detailed tender responses in a timely manner

  • Any other duties as assigned by line manager

  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
