Program Director for Interface Affairs- Post Merger Integration- Naval Shipbuilding

Oversee the integration process following the merger between a Naval Shibuilding Organization and a new 'small naval' company, ensuring strategic alignment and shareholder value. This involves coordinating business development activities, tailoring program management policies, promoting efficient cooperation, optimizing resource utilization, and facilitating collaborative procurement data management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Align division goals, processes, and resource allocation with organizational strategy.

  • Manage staff and evaluate organizational unit activities to achieve objectives.

  • Accomplish financial goals by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and analyzing variances.

  • Assist in strategic problem resolution and decision-making.

  • Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Lead the team in meeting goals through delegation and supervision of operations.

  • Set vision and motivation for the team to achieve objectives efficiently.

  • Establish achievable deadlines and track organizational unit performance.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Post Merger Integration process, maximizing shareholder value.

  • Integrate operations and strategies seamlessly during the merger.

  • Align new business development activities between companies.

  • Customize program management policies and tools for each company.

  • Implement risk management and performance monitoring tailored to enhance program efficiency.

  • Promote efficient cooperation and shared work between companies.

  • Optimize resource utilization and production costs.

  • Foster collaboration and sharing of procurement data.

  • Drive collaborative procurement strategies to minimize supply costs.

  • Research and implement best practices in program management.

  • Introduce innovative methods for continuous improvement.

  • Assess and enhance existing processes for ongoing optimization.

  • Cultivate a collaborative culture within the organization.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar field.

  • Over 15 years of related experience, including 6 years in leadership.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's degree in engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar field.
